What is a Digital Piano?
What is a Digital Piano?
Digital pianos feel and play much the same as an acoustic piano. The sound is produced by using digital recordings or elaborate newer ‘modeling’ technology of real acoustic grand pianos. To achieve the ‘feel’ of a real piano keybpard, digital pianos use complex key actions to simulate all the moving parts found in an acoustic piano. Quality digital pianos from Kawai feel and sound like an acoustic piano. Kawai goes even further by using real wood piano keys in many of their models. They also capture many of the subtle sounds made by an acoustic piano when played.
While there are many digital piano manufactures in the world, Kawai digital pianos have received more international awards than any other maker. We have a large selection of digital pianos to chose from. We’re authorized dealers AND service providers for both Kawai and Yamaha products. What sets us apart is that we have our own in-house technicians for service, not outside contractors.
